Eleanor

One of my heroines is Eleanor Roosevelt. She shared her thoughts, a core element of her legacy. She was brave. She was determined. She taught us to not let fear stop us. She taught us to take ownership. Lastly, she taught me that "Happiness is not a goal, it is a by-product of a life well-lived". What have you learned from your heroes?

Here are three more of my favorites from Eleanor:

"One's philosophy is not best expressed in words; it is expressed in the choices one makes...and the choices we make are ultimately our responsibility"

"You have to accept whatever comes and the only important thing is that you meet it with courage and with the best that you have to give"

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do"

Be Brave, Be Determined, Be Fearless, Take Ownership and Live Well!
